A native of Morrison, Ill., Casey graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of North Dakota, earning his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Kinesiology. He began his collegiate coaching career while attending the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), where he interned under Nick Zostautas and assisted with the coaching of a variety of teams and professional athletes training in the off-season and in-season.
Casey continued his education while working as a Graduate Assistant for the University of North Dakota and head strength coach, Nate Baukol. Serving as the Strength & Conditioning coach for the Baseball and Softball teams, he also had the opportunity to work with the Football, Basketball, Track and Field, and Swimming programs.
After years of coaching and developing his craft, Casey chose to open a facility for athletes of all ages and skill levels to develop in a safe, energetic, and competitive environment. With a dedicated staff that is driven by the success of the athletes and the fantastic lifelong relationships that are created, the Tactic Sports Performance experience was born and continues to cultivate not only outstanding athletes but exceptional individuals!
Casey is a certified member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach, and is Titleist Performance Institute Fitness certified.
Jordan Vick

Graduating with his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Jordan was brought on to assist with coaching after an internship/independent study project with Casey Tiesman & Tactic Sports Performance during his undergraduate tenure. Playing high-school basketball and volleyball, he sought to continue his athletic passion finding the sport of powerlifting, setting multiple National & State records. Continually seeking to further his education, Jordan is pursuing certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association while he searches for prospective graduate school programs that fit his passion for evidence-based strength and conditioning.
